Jackie Heffer-Cooke offers hypnobirthing one-to-one consultations at The Orange Grove Clinic, which can be tailored to you and your partner’s specific needs.
If you can’t get to a class or you’d rather work directly with Jackie in private, having a one-on-one consultation can be made available. We can focus on the areas that you feel will most benefit you both during labour, without any distractions.
Our hypnobirthing classes can empower you to have a better birthing experience, by supporting the natural instincts of your body in birth. The overall aim is to teach you to keep calm, make you feel in control and enjoy one of the most empowering experiences of your life!
For One-on-One consultations, the full Hypnobirthing programme can be completed in 8 hours. For just a singular consultation, 90 minutes is the minimum requirement. Thereafter, you can request as many hours of Hypnobirthing as you would like.

She has helped hundreds of couples have a better birthing experience, invaluable to so many! She uses a mix of practical, intuitive and nurturing advice. Having created an inspiring course at our Norfolk clinic, Jackie now has a wealth of birthing stories and testimonials to back up her experience.

Please note: if you do the full 8-hour course, the Hypnobirthing official book is included in the cost. However, all clients receive the download of the Birthing Toolkit. The relaxation and hypnobirthing audio also come via email.
Hypnobirthing can help you to release fears and anxieties you may have about giving birth, including showing you how to overcome previous traumatic births. It teaches you to understand your pregnant and labouring body, as you are talked through: conception to birth; strains on the body; imbalances in hormones and how your muscles are used in childbirth. It promotes self awareness and self-control. The training in self-hypnosis assists you in reaching a level of relaxation and relative calm, at the times when you need it most.
The aim? To stop your body tensing at a time when release is all important.
It encourages you to be emotionally strong. Understanding your body during birth is empowering, helping mum (and dad!) stay calm and focused. The shared experience of learning HypnoBirthing with your partner, or birth partner, leads to understanding and support of your needs during this incredible time, leading up to the most important moment of all – meeting your baby for the very first time.
