New Trauma Clinic with Norwich Shiatsu Practitioner Gary Moore

Gary Moore Norwich trauma clinic offering Shiatsu therapyA new Norwich trauma clinic will be opening from the Orange Grove on Monday 8th April, ran by Shiatsu practitioner Gary Moore MRSS.  The trauma clinic is designed to provide extra assistance for people in their recovery from traumatic injuries and events.  Gary Moore has been working as a Shiatsu practitioner for over 12 years and first became involved in this type of work after a serious neck injury resulted in him giving up his previous career in finance.  Having tried all the treatments available under the NHS at the time and having paid for a variety of private treatments, he finally found the Japanese art of Shiatsu, which eventually restored him to full health.

The trauma clinic will be held every Monday, starting on Monday 8th April at 10:30am.  To book an appointment within the clinic, where you will be attended to by Gary on a one to one basis, please call our clinic on 01603 631900.  Or you can go to our contact page.

More about The Norwich Trauma Clinic

Gary Moore, our experienced Shiatsu Practitioner, decided to open this trauma clinic in Norwich following his own first hand experience of how Shiatsu can be very supportive during trauma or traumatic events.  He suffered from a serious neck injury which resulted in him having to give up his previous career in finance.

As Gary explains:  ”I can remember at the time of the injury and whilst I was making little progress in my recovery, that I felt so vulnerable.  Previously, I had always been very fit and sporty and suddenly I was desperately looking for something to help me regain good health.  I feel very fortunate to have eventually found Shiatsu.  The beauty of Shiatsu is that it is gentle to receive and works with the body, to encourage the whole system to recover.  In my experience it is one of the most powerful means out there to help achieve long- lasting recovery. Having experienced this trauma first-hand, I seem to have a natural affinity with this type of injury, which seems to be of great help when working with clients.”

“Obviously what we do as Shiatsu practitioners in the UK is very much complementary to the mainstream work available under the NHS.  But for those people who have been through the system without success or even those who have experienced limited recovery but still don’t “feel themselves” and can’t put their finger on the reason why, I would urge them to give Shiatsu a try.  My experience shows there can be light at the end of the tunnel and I feel sure that in years to come Shiatsu will play an increased role in people’s recovery in the UK, as indeed it already does in some other countries in the world.

Gary Moore’s Trauma Clinic will be on Monday mornings at 11am at The Orange Grove Clinic, next to the Maddermarket Theatre in Norwich City Centre, starting on the 8th April. Each clinic will be open to one client, who will receive a Shiatsu treatment with the emphasis on trauma support.  For more  information , please call the clinic on 01603 631900 or go to our contact page.
