Running on Tuesday mornings from 7:15am to 8:30am, this yoga class is ideal for anyone in Norwich city centre who wants to start the day the right way. Perhaps some exercise on the way to work, or a class before you begin your day… to energise the body but also calm the mind for mental and balanced alertness.
Ran by yoga teacher Mark Pearson, a Yoga Alliance UK Registered Yoga Teacher, who has been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching yoga classes outside Norwich for the past two years.
What will this yoga class in Norwich be like?
Mark teachers classic Hatha yoga, incorporating asana (postures) for the benefit of the physical form, pranayama (working with the breath) and mindfulness meditation. As Mark explains: “when you come to my yoga class in Norwich at The Orange Grove, I’m not so concerned with achieving extreme postures… instead the aim is for each yogi to find their own way, their own edge, be it physical or psychological. It is a journey of self discovery. In a class it is important to listen to your body and your mind. Listen to the teacher yes (please), but the real lesson comes from within!”
At this class, your yoga teacher Mark will guide you how to wake your body with gentle stretching, while focusing the mind in an oasis of yogic calm. Forget the early morning rush, and instead come for some early morning hush! Start the day as you mean to go on – relaxed, calm and focused in both body and mind.
These classes begin Tuesday 12th June 2012. Cost £42 for a 6 week block.
